Lion's Roar August 2004! Once again Mystic Lion Art celebrated at Reggae on the River. The 21st annual show featured some of my favorite performing artists, along with near perfect weather. Four of our giant hemp flags flew above the main stage, along with a roaring lion flag flown backstage. Much thanks to Carol and John Bruno, and to Leo Nell and his brave crew for the opportunity to fly the lions.
Mystic Lion Flags Fly Over the Stage at ROTR 2004 With our studio base now in Humboldt County, we made many new local friends and contacts. Look for a continuing selection of Mystic Lion products at Roberto’s T’s in Garberville. Monterey Bay Reggaefest is back after a one year break. The Mystic Lion backdrops will again grace the stages at Monterey on Labor Day weekend. Although we won’t have a booth at this year’s show, there should be lots of lions present.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON Dreadstock is
coming! Look out for this show, coming to Vallejo, CA on
San Francisco Bay, September 25 and 26th. Come by land or
sea for two days of great music. There will be plenty of
parking, or better yet, take a ferry. The Roots of Aloha
celebration will bring a Pacific reggae flavor, with Hawaiian
reggae stars Humble
Soul and Marty
Dread, along with the Native
Elements band. Don’t miss this showcase on Sunday
the 26th, where Mystic Lion will be flying stage banners
